Piramides del Valle is a provocative response to the soft design done in the other hotel of the chain located in Narvarte in Mexico City. The interior design of this hotel is a boldness of form and color that invites de visitor to explore the wild urban nature. The differences in floor create multiple scenarios to unleash scenes worthy of a novel.
The color palette of the entire project is based on earthly colors that create a very soft ambiance. To enhance some parts of the design there are accents in bright orange and dark blue especially in the walls covered with Venetian tiles. The brightness of the tiles stands out and smoothly blends with the wooden floors of the room and the marble in the bathroom. The fabrics selected for the bed covers have a pattern in the selected color range.
There are 10 different kind of rooms divided in 3 major categories: standard, suites and master suite. In all the rooms the door that divides the bedroom from the bathroom has a grand translucent photo mural to create privacy and allow light to come through. The lighting design in every room creates different ambiances and the intensities may vary from one area to the other. The TV rotates to be seen from every point and there is full mirror that also rotates and has an image on the back.
The master suite has a private pool that ends in a water fall that leads to a grout. This intimate space is accessible only through the water fall and has a comfortable sitting space and a TV. Among all the amenities available in this fantastic retreat there are two king-size beds divided by a catwalk designed specially to motivate memorable experiences. The sitting area was designed as a terrace to enjoy the view of the whole room.
